We Just Didn't Want It To End

(I wanted to post this to my blog as we are now 12 months down the track and I want to give you an update on what we have done since I wrote this.)

We just didn’t want it to end - Nov 2006

Have you ever felt so moved and inspired by a speaker’s presentation
that you didn’t want it to end.

Last week my husband Jeff and I attended a seminar for speakers and
trainers hosted by Mal Emery our marketing GURU.

Not only did Mal bring to Australia an impressive line up of international
speakers. The speakers all talked about their business of speaking,
dropped the curtain and revealed their intimate success secrets to us.

I’ll pass on in a few moments something you can do next week that will
boost your business, super star speaker or not. but first let me tell you
a little about what we saw.

You see we were lucky enough to hear how to put together a speaking
presentation and sell over $100,000 worth of product and services in
90 minutes.

Now hear this; one of the speakers had sales of more than $350,000
while we were there in the audience in Sydney, last week.

So hold your horses and your judgement. Even if you think they must
have ripped some poor suckers off  and it should be made illegal, hear
me out.

The truth is they are at the top of their tree. Masters at their craft,
professionals who could have retired years ago in style and yet they
still speak to share their MAGIC.

Joel Bauer had me riveted to my seat, transfixed and mesmerised. He
is an absolute master of his craft and “The Most Impressive Speaker I
have Ever Seen.”

This is what “Joel Bauer” said about promoting and developing any
business. I liked it because this is exactly what I did years ago and it
worked.

Go out and speak to service clubs and organisations who are always
looking for a guest speaker. The speaker organiser is desperate to
hear from YOU.

Plan and craft a 20 minute presentation on a relevant topic that moves
“you” and you will move your audience. There is no better way to
promote you and your business than to speak about it.

Share your self to your audience, tell your story and let them
see that they are just like you.

Next year Mal Emery will be holding another Speakers and Trainers
event. Wild horses could not keep me away. I will listen to the speakers
and in the breaks I will talk to them. They Touch Me With Their Magic
and I stand in awe of who they are and what they do.

I really know this, they are people just like you and me with a passion
for creating wealth for ourselves and our audience. Jeff and I do it
because it is our passion and our gift. We are on a never ending road
of personal discovery and committed to building people and profits.

Jennifer Elliott

Update from Dec 2008

Wild horses did keep us away from Mal Emery’s Speakers Trainers and Presenters event in Sydney in October 2008. We were in Queenstown New Zealand presenting and pitching our Integrity and Values Profiling System at a coaching conference run by Coach Mecca.

I will say this about the contribution the Joel Bauer and Mal Emery have made to our lives and our business. They are two brilliant and exceptional marketers and we continue to sing their praises every where we go.  We personally thank them for their courage and their commitment to us and to humanity.

They are proud, courageous and passionate pioneers who are preparing the way for us to follow.

They are preparing the way for us to fulfil on our dreams and goals. A better world for all of us. Without their words of advice and their genuine interest in our success, we would definitely not be where we are today.

Just so that you are clear on how much we are in debited to these two people and the many who are part of their marketing network.

Jeff and I in October 2006 were considering giving in and very very close to financial ruin. I had very serious accident in December 2003 and we were running out of money and running out of steam. We were both emotionally and financially on our last legs.

I am reminded that when the student is ready the master will appear – well Mal Emery turned up, in actual fact we went to his 2006 Silent Killer Seminar in Darling Harbour Sydney looking for a way out.

Well we found our way out and spent another $25,000 we did not have to sign up to Mal’s Centurion Program. It worked and so did we, you see we had to make it work.

There was no other option, no back door, no turning back.

With the assistance of Mal Emery and his network of other business people he has mentored and developed, we were able to post a turnover in our business in 2007 – 2008 of over 1.1 million dollars.

We are clear that we did the work. We are also clear that without the wise counsel of Mal Emery and Joel Bauer we would never have been able to do it.

Thank You. Thank you to both of you.
